Kids never get tired of animals...animals-this is a great Easter bunny and chicky craft or everyday craft. Make sure you place the jar r can upside down! If you use a can --cover the hole with heavy tape, please.

Make An Easter Egg Recycle Craft Snake

How To Make An Easter Egg Craft

Tools Needed To Make This Snake:

  • Plastic 2 piece Eggs
  • String or twine
  • Marker
  • Small Drill with 1/2" drill bit or 1/4" drill bit
  • Small piece of wood to drill on
  • Glue or Hot Glue
  • Jelly beans or beans to put in the head (if you want it edible use beans and tape it)
  • Optional: googly craft eyes

Directions:recycle!

*Important: make sure you help small children use any sharp objects u=you use to make the holes or predrill for them!

  • Drill a small hole in each egg using a 1/2" drill bit or 1/4" drill bit
  • Cut two lengths of string.
    • One for the tongue (about 3 inches
    • one for the body (about 2 feet)
  • Tie the short one 3 on the front of the face as the tongue
  • Tie the longer one on the back head end to string the body
  • Insert beans in the head and glue it tight (don't fill totally beans needs to move around)
  • String the body egg halves all facing the same way except for the last 1 or 2 (according to the picture)
  • Tie the end...don't pull the string too tight!
  • Once complete Let it dry thoroughly

Options / Ideas: hi peacepal

  • If you want to make it into a pull toy:
    • Add another string to the tongue if you wish to use it as a pull toy
    • Add a beads
  • Decorate the face with beads if you like (glue gun them on)
  • Fill the head with jelly beans, , beans, lentils, peas or small beads
